Alan Turing
In 2012 Alan Turing would have been 100. He is credited as the father of Computer Science, and like any parent, he has had far reaching influence over his offspring. Having attended a lecture on the life of Alan Turing I was left with some open questions.
Patents
The current patent system doesn't really work. These are my views on some of the most broken parts of the system.
Ebooks
A new ecosystem is growing around ebooks. It's being shaken by Publishers, Piracy and Libraries, and will ultimately lead to cheaper higher quality content for consumers.
